About Ben

Ben Travers is a Broadcast Music Incorporated award winner and Academy Award–shortlisted musician. He’s a Billboard Hot 100 top ten songwriter, producer, session musician, international touring artist, and multi-instrumentalist. Over the years, Ben has collaborated with world-class names including Sade, Ramin Djawadi, No I.D., Hans Zimmer, Lil Baby, and filmmakers such as Oscar winner Steve McQueen and Oscar nominee Ava DuVernay.

In addition to his work as a songwriter and collaborator, Ben has released an album of his own featuring world-renowned musicians Paul Gilbert, Hank Marvin, Brett Garsed, Michael Paouris, Stian Carstensen, Derek Jones, and Pete Lesperance.

Alongside his work as a recording and touring musician, Ben has lived and breathed the guitar since the age of 14. My Method is his personal archive of everything he’s learned — from savage alternate picking and sweeping to fingerstyle, folk, and gypsy jazz — distilled into a space where he shares his knowledge, experience, and passion for music with others.
